Disabled Visitors

We aim that everyone's visit should be as rewarding as possible, regardless of abilities.

A large print welcome sheet is available in the gift shop on arrival.

We have tarmac paths around the grounds, making it easy for wheelchair access. There are no steps or stairs in any of the public buildings. We have special viewing areas in the flying grounds and the hides, as well as a number of seating areas throughout the grounds for rest breaks. A limited number of manual wheelchairs are available for free loan, and three powered scooters can be used for a minimum £1 donation towards Shopmobility. Please contact the office to pre-book use of the chairs. There is Disabled Car Parking immediately outside the main entrance and accessible toilets are just inside the entrance.

For individual disabled visitors, wheelchair and pusher are classed as a single visitor and charged appropriately. Group rates are available.
