Hospital Update - Index 2008

In January 2008, Barn Owls and a Little Owl; Buzzards and Kestrels - and the return of an old friend. In February 2008, the cold, wet and windy weather means a lot of work for the Hospital.
Baby Burrowing Owl being fed In March 2008, a quet month - six new arrivals and the first hatching of 2008. In April 2008, Barn, Tawny and Long- and Short-eared Owls; Sparrow hawks, Buzzards and Kestrels - and that's just the wild stuff.
In May 2008, eleven wild birds, and Madeleine is improving. In June 2008, twenty-one wild birds, including a number of chicks and some of our own young.
In July 2008, thirty-six wild birds, young and older, some more of our own young and a Red-backed Hawk. In August 2008, twenty-two wild birds plus sixteen Tawny Owls in pre-release. More of our own birds - young and not so young.
In September 2008, nineteen wild birds plus our own young birds are growing up, and Mace is improving. Red kite being given an injection In October 2008, nineteen wild birds plus three of our own young birds that are developing nicely.
