Cometh the Owl, Cometh the Man

Owl mascot costumeLocal businessman, Mike Boss, is raising funds to purchase an owl mascot that will be used to promote the Hawk Conservancy Trust at events and agricultural shows. He has even entered the Mascot Grand National, which is run at Huntingdon Racecourse in Cambridgeshire.

Marketing Manager, Gale Gould, said ‘Mike is such a star! We have reached 47% of our target but the sooner we can purchase the mascot the sooner Mike can start his training regime. The Hawk Conservancy Trust is invited to attend so many events where it is just not possible to take any of our birds, however the owl mascot will provide an excellent stand-in. We are sure that it will prove to be a very popular ambassador for the Trust.’
