Photographic Workshop with Oliver Smart

Sunday, 23 April, 2017 @ 9.30am

Oliver's workshop has been designed for wildlife enthusiasts who wish to improve their photography or learn more about the techniques by practising with trained birds. This understanding can then be put into practice with wild birds or other wildlife subjects. In addition, two members of the Hawk Conservancy Trust team will handle the birds and will be on hand to set up shots, and to explain to guests about the species featured in the workshop, their habitats and lifestyle in the wild.
A basic knowledge of photography would be beneficial, however Oliver will be on hand to assist with key suggestions on capturing great shots, and can offer expert instruction on composition, camera controls and lighting.
Price: £150.00 per course - includes lunch/refreshments (Course limited to 12 people).

Fully booked

Sky Hunters at Sunset

27 May, 1 July and 22 July

Summer evenings offer our birds excellent flying conditions, and we would like to invite you to enjoy an evening of flying demonstrations at our breathtakingly beautiful 22-acre site, to see them at their best. The birds will soar against the backdrop of our new Savannah Arena as the sun sets gently behind them, and after the sun has faded, there’ll be twists and turns in flight in our Woodland Arena.
